Ever since I got my first frenchie I became obsessed with their squishy faces and uncontrollable snorting. I wanted to collect every shade of french bulldogs. So when my girl had her litter ...i kept it all. I just have to say that i LOVE raising puppies and have been doing for over 8 years now. It is amazing the happiness, unconditional love and joy that our dogs bring to our lives. I love seeing the happy families faces light up when they see their baby for first time. It so cute to watch  the puppies get equally as excited and see those little botty wiggle. And best part see your pupies grow, get emails, texts and phne calls telling happy stories of their lives!

Frenchies FAQs

Is French Bulldog Good Family Dog?

I recommend to research breed to see if they are a good fit for you and your family. French bulldogs have a very funny personality they pretty much clowns of dog world, and might be not what you are looking for. They definitely NOT sport dogs or guard dog, meaning they do love occasional walk and exercise BUT this is NOT the breed that will run a mile while you are riding your bike. They perfect lap dog, companion dog and they know how to do their job! Their silliness have no limits! They do make a lot of noises for a dog. They fart, they snore but that just make them so  cute!

What Should I Look For When Buying My French Bulldog Puppy?

The most important thing is Health. All our dogs are health tested and come with 1 year health guarantee for life threatening congenic diseases. Having a good pedigree is great, but selective breeding (line breeding) what helps predict healthy and quality puppies. Its kinda tricky cause everyone on internet promise you "High Quality French Bulldog" and when they grow up looking like gremlin makes you wonder what happened. French bulldog should be short, stocky and compact. Check pictures of Sire and Dam if they look tall, skinny or have long back, most likely puppy will be just like them. But every frenchie deserve love so it all in your hands.

How Big Are French Bulldogs?

Standard french bulldogs around 22-30lbs, but recent years breeders been focusing on shrinking size of french bulldogs to 15-20lbs and less. Most of my dogs ranging from 15-27lbs, and when new litter arrive it impossible to predict the full grown size of a puppy. Just like people we don't know how our children will look when they're grow up. It is the same with dogs, but breeding quality dogs standard or smaller sizes at least increases the chances to get small and correct dogs.

Best Food For French Bulldog?

Just from my own personal experience with frenchies, fighting for years with their allergies, yeasty paws, gassiness that can empty the room, and 5-8 piles of poo a day. French bulldogs thrive on raw food diet. Most natural food source. We haven't had allergy issues over 3 years now, pearly white theeth, shiny coats and no more farts...and pile of @$#$ just once a day. They healthy, they strong, they happy. I feed all my dogs with raw food, send me message if you want to try this premade mix.

Can French Bulldog Give Birth Naturally?

Personally, I would never risk my girls health and try save money on c-section. French bulldog head is big and can easily get stuck in birth canal causing to loose all litter. Also, since most french bulldog artificially inseminated with 1-2 day window litter mates can be conceived different moments. Sometimes you get puppies visibly premature and fully developed in same litter, their sizes very different. Another thing with bulldogs, sometimes girls can develop water puppy, that is x3 size of normal puppy causing to loose litter. Once in while you hear french bulldog gave birth naturally, but without knowing details about female, their size and anatomy it hard to judge.  I personally had few small girls that went into labor and puppies got stuck and didnt make it. So in end it not worth risk!

Can French Bulldogs Mate Naturally?

Sometimes they can  BUT in most cases they anatomically incompatible, it takes long time for mating to happen and, durring the process, they can easily overheat. Which is very bad for their health. Another aspect, dogs can have std just like humans. So you want protect your female from exposing to famous stud etc.  So most breeders prefer artificial insemination or surgical insemination.

Can French bulldog Swim?

After testing our frenchies in pool only 1 out of 10 able to swim on its own. Their body so short and muscular leaves them without much buoyancy. But that wont stop the fun! Amazon have adorable swimming jackets for our furrbabies.

Does French Bulldog Shed?

Frenchies do shed just like any other dog, some frenchies however shed little bit more due to double coat. One trick to help figure out the coat is by running hands through their fur. If you feel two different textures- like course, rough fur up top and soft, wool-like fur closer to their skin- then your frenchie have double coat. Also with single coat you can easily see skin through fur especially on cream frenchies.
